Set up custom alerts with filters. Get notified instantly (email and/or in-app) when opportunities matching your preferences appear. Create filter alerts (keywords, cities, job level, job type, languages, category) or company alerts (track specific companies). Activate or pause alerts anytime. View alert matches to see jobs that triggered each alert.

What This Feature Does

Job Alerts notify you when new jobs match your criteria. Create filter alerts (keywords, cities, job level, job type, languages, category) or company alerts (track specific companies). Receive notifications via email and/or in-app. Activate or pause alerts anytime. View alert matches to see jobs that triggered each alert.

Key Capabilities

Filter Alerts

• Keywords: Array of search terms

• Cities: e.g. Helsinki, Tampere, Turku

• Job level: Intern, Junior, Mid-Senior, Senior

• Job type: Full-time, Part-time, Remote, Hybrid, On-site

• Languages: Finnish, English, Swedish

• Category: Job category

Company Alerts

• Track a specific company

• Optional: keywords, languages, city

• Get notified when that company posts new roles

Notification Channels

• Email: Enabled by default

• In-app: Enabled by default

• Configure per alert in the alert config

Alert Management

• Create, update, delete alerts

• Activate / Deactivate (pause) alerts

• View matches for each alert in Notifications panel

• Maximum 10 alerts per user (configurable later)

How to Use

1. Go to Job Alerts (/alerts) from the sidebar

2. Click Create Alert and choose Filter Alert or Company Alert

3. Set your criteria (keywords, cities, job level, etc.)

4. Save and activate the alert

5. When matches arrive, check Alert matches or your Notification Center

Best Practices

• Use filter alerts for broad criteria (e.g. "React developer")

• Use company alerts for dream companies

• Pause alerts when you're not actively searching

• Review matches regularly so you don't miss opportunities
